Heathrow Express Fares Update

01 January 2022: Heathrow Express has consistently received the top customer satisfaction ratings for the past decade, with its NRPS scores always being in the Top 2 across all Train Operating companies and the highest for any rail air service in Britain. With a new fleet, the highest luggage space for any mode of public transport at Heathrow, comfortable seating and space for travellers to relax in a tranquil environment, Heathrow Express will be making fares even simpler by having the same price for all flexible fares across both the digital and at station physical channels. This means the flexible Return fare will continue to remain frozen at £37 since 2017 whereas the flexible Single fare will now be £25 across all channels instead of costing £25 offline and £22 online. Great value fixed single fares will still remain unchanged and start at £5.50 when purchased in advance. Children will still continue to go for free when accompanied by an adult.

Heathrow Express has more than halved the prices on its weekday advanced tickets

Tue 05 Nov 2019

The dedicated express service between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington has announced its popular one-way advance £5.50 fares are now available every day of the week.

And this could benefit the five million passengers who travel Monday to Friday over the course of a typical year.

Heathrow Express’s range of new fixed date fares means passengers will be able to get weekday tickets for less than half the price of the previous cheapest weekday tickets– subject to availability.

Previously the cheapest weekday travel available was £12.50 when booked 90 days in advance rising to £16.50 for bookings up to 14 days before travel.

Now, customers booking in advance will see fares available for £5.50, £7.50, £10.00, £12.50, £15.00 or £16.50 depending on availability.

To take advantage of the new prices, travellers will need to book through the new Heathrow Express website and smartphone app which launched earlier this week.

The new website and app enables travellers to book tickets more quickly ‘than ever before’ in five additional languages.

And clear ticket and pricing options are provided to so customers can choose the cheapest fares.

Registered app users also receive personalised suggestions based on their location, in addition to booking history and automated next train times.

The transfer service, which has frozen fares since 2018 and continues to offer Kids go Free*, has designed the website and app to be easier to navigate.

And have added an ‘industry first’ ticket indicator function, so customers can keep track of used and unused tickets.

Les Freer, Heathrow Express Director, said: “Rolling out our £5.50 one-way fare across the week means thousands more customers can travel for less with Heathrow Express.

“Speed and convenience is crucial to Heathrow Express customers who have rated us top in the National Rail Passenger Survey three times in a row and our new website and app delivers on these too.
