The Christian brothers – Aaron and Reuben – co-founded the fashion website Individualism in 2008, which five years on still prides itself on innovative content that celebrates and pushes the boundaries of men's style. Aaron is the site’s editor-in-chief by night, and a video style editor by day, while Reuben is a TV presenter and comic, as well as Individualism’s co-founder.

Present is a gift

With so many places to buy your summertime kit vying for your attention, you need a degree of simplicity for your choices. Rather than picking up pieces from the plethora of locales, why not have a one stop shop for all and sundry? We’re talking Present London here people! The store, based in London’s über-cool Shoreditch, caters to a variety of needs with a wealth of little known labels and designer brands too. Most of the collection has a natural affinity, so pieces compliment rather than clash, leaving you looking more WG Grace and less Worzel Gummidge. (

Welcome to the good life

For high end garb at reasonable prices, we think Goodhood get it right. Not only can you upgrade your own style, but the good folks at Goodhood have seen fit to add to their offering by producing lifestyle and homeware pieces too. Grab the summer by the scruff of the neck and say: “Oi! I’m ready for you, sunshine!” Then head to the social networks and arrange a BBQ to show off all your new stuff. (

See the Starman

David Bowie is a cultural style icon who straddles coolness, androgyny and longevity with consummate ease. This collection of photographs charts his journey from awkward youth to bastion of rock royalty and is the first retrospective curate the V&A have undertaken for The Man Who Fell To Earth. Check out the pieces by Mick Rock of Bowie. If they don’t make you question the idea of perfection, then we’ll eat our hats. (

Vintage market marvels

Fruit being thrown into paper bags, cockney men shouting indiscernibles, old women pulling trolleys around and haggling with faux apologetic vendors – this is a typical market scene. However, on the mean streets of East London’s Brick Lane, the market is likely to be anything but typical. One off pieces bought directly from the designer you won’t find anywhere else, the finest vintage this side of the river and all with the fragrance of an incredible array of international food billowing around you. Grab a burrito and get shopping! (

A little bit of Tim

Tim’s got a serious foot fetish. He cares about what goes on your feet and has done so for longer than he can remember. Tim Little shoes, located on the plush King’s Road, provides a unique shoe shopping experience. Quality cordwainers are hard to come by, so believe us, we know a good one when we see it. Check them out. Your feet and wardrobe will thank you. (

You’re the Wang that I want

The great lines and cutting edge style which made Alexander Wang famous remain undiminished in this his new collection for Mr Porter. Your style says a lot about you, regardless of whether you think so or not. Here’s a great opportunity to snap up a selection of outstanding wardrobe staples that will make your summertime a beautiful experience inside and out. We particularly like the bonded-leather and wool-blend bomber jacket along with the contrast-sleeve cotton shirt. (We’ve got a thing for odd arms, you see.) (
