How much do Heathrow Express tickets cost?

A Single ticket is priced at £25 and can be purchased online, from a Ticket Vending Machine, a sales agent or a ticket office. We are eliminating time restrictions and there will no longer be any peak or off peak times in Heathrow Express.

By booking your Heathrow Express journey in advance, you could get a one-way ticket from just £10. This is based on an Advance Discounted Single purchased 30+ days in advance. These tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Are child fares available?

Accepted Answer

Children aged 15 years and under travel free when accompanied by a paying adult. Proof of age may be requested. Please note that you still need to purchase a free ticket for each travelling child.

How much is a Heathrow Express monthly pass?

If you're a frequent traveller the Carnet 12 gives you 12 single journeys for the price of 9 and the Carnet 6 gives you 6 journeys for price of 5, valid for a year. For more information please see our Carnet page.

Can I use network or loyalty Railcards on Heathrow Express trains?

Yes, you can use a number of Railcards on the Heathrow Express to obtain discounted travel. To qualify you must purchase at the ticket office or online.

Do you offer concessionary discounts for disabled people who do not hold a Disabled Persons Railcard?

Blind or visually-impaired customers travelling with a companion

If you are registered as blind or visually-impaired and are travelling with another person, the concessionary discounts shown below apply for both you and your companion. You cannot get the discount if you are travelling on your own. Discount applies to adult fares only.

Please take evidence of your visual impairment such as a document from a recognised institution such as Social Services, your Local Authority, The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) or St Dunstans when buying your ticket and making your journey. Tickets can be purchased from staffed ticket offices.

Customers who stay in their own wheelchair during a rail journey

If you need to stay in your own wheelchair during your rail journey the concessionary discounts shown below apply. Discounts are available on adult and child fares. The discounts below apply if you are travelling alone. They are also available to one adult travelling with you.

Is Heathrow Express free between terminals?

Accepted Answer

Yes Heathrow Express is free to use for travel between the terminals. You still need a (free) ticket though, which can be purchased via Ticket Machines at the platform, or you can simply tap in & out using Contactless or an Oyster Card.
