How to check if the Heathrow Express is running today?

The Heathrow Express runs every day of the year, except Christmas Day, but sometimes we face delays and disruptions.

You can check if the Heathrow Express is running today and if there are any service disruptions, with our live service tool.

Simply select your direction of travel. Let us know whether you’re travelling to the airport from London Paddington or going into London from Heathrow – you can even choose both directions. Then just select the date you’re travelling – you can select up to six months in advance – and we’ll show you if our trains are running and if there are any disruptions.

What to do if your Heathrow Express train is cancelled

If your Heathrow Express train is cancelled on the day and you’re already travelling, you can:

• Get a later train: You may be able to wait for the next running Heathrow Express train if you have time before you need to get to the airport or back into central London. Our Heathrow Express trains run every 15 minutes.
  
• Find an alternative mode of transport: If you’re travelling from Paddington to Heathrow, or the other way, your next quickest option is to take the Picadilly Line on the London Underground.
