
How can you get to Paddington Station?
London Paddington is a major transport hub in central London. It’s located to the east of the centre of London in the borough of Kensington, and you have a range of ways to get there before you get on your Heathrow Express train.
Many tube lines run into the underground station at Paddington. The station is on the Bakerloo Line, offering direct connections to the likes of Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Waterloo. The District and Circle Lines, along with the Hammersmith and City Line, also connect to Paddington, with stops along the way including Baker Street, High Street Kensington, South Kensington and St. James’s Park. The newly opened Elizabeth Line runs through the station too.
Paddington is also walking distance from a range of other tube stations, including Lancaster Gate (Central Line) and Edgware Road (Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, District & Circle).
If you’re travelling from central London on the bus to Paddington, you’ll find a range of different buses to choose from, including the 7 from Oxford Circus, the 23 from Aldwych, the 27 from Chalk Farm, the 16 from Brent Park, and the 36 from New Cross Gate.
For passengers arriving into Paddington by train, there are a number of lines that terminate at the station from the likes of Reading, Cardiff and Bristol.
You can also walk to the station from many places within central London – including Edgware Road, Bayswater, Hyde Park and Notting Hill – if you fancy a stroll in the fresh air.
