You’ve organised your airport bags with Airportr and booked your Heathrow Express ticket. Now you can plan your journey to Heathrow. Keep these tips in mind:

• Check flight details in advance: In the days leading up to your flight (and the day of it), make sure you continually check your flight details. This helps you plan when to arrive at the airport, but also keeps you updated on any potential flight changes, cancellations or delays.

• Allow plenty of time to get to the airport: There’s nothing worse than arriving late to the airport and having to rush through security and run to the gate. Plan your journey in advance and give yourself more than enough time to get to Heathrow. Heathrow Express trains leave Paddington every 15 minutes and run from 04:34 Monday to Saturday, giving you multiple trains to choose from to whisk you to the airport with lots of time to spare.

• Know what to expect when you arrive: Having organised your bags through Airportr and checked in for your flight, you can head straight through security with your carry-on luggage. Remember to have your liquids in a clear, re-sealable plastic bag and no more than 100ml per liquid. With the new airport rules in place, your liquids and technology items can now stay in your hand luggage through security. Once through security, it’s simply a case of strolling to your gate and boarding your flight.
