How can you purchase a Single Ticket?

The best way to buy a Heathrow Express single ticket is online or on the Heathrow Express mobile app. You can also buy one at the station, but doing so online or via the app saves you time and hassle at the station before you hop on your train.

With a single ticket, there are no time restrictions on the day – you can choose any Heathrow Express service (remember they run every 15 minutes). The only restriction is that you'll need to jump on a train on the same day you booked to travel on. You can buy a fully flexible Single ticket on both Standard Class and Premier+ Class.

Why should you book directly with Heathrow Express?

It couldn’t be easier to book your group tickets directly with Heathrow Express. You can do it either online or on the Heathrow Express mobile app to save time at the station. If you need to book more than £600 worth of tickets, email our Customer Service team directly.

Single or Return: Which ticket saves you money?

If you’re returning the same day on the Heathrow Express, it’s cheaper to book a same-day return ticket at £30 rather than two singles at £26 each. The same goes if you’re returning on a different date. A Standard Class return will set you back £42, compared to £52 for two singles.

The only time that two single tickets are better value for return journeys is when you know your travel dates well in advance. If you book an Advance Discounted Single for each leg of your journey, it will cost you £10 each way. You will need to book 30 or more days before your travel date to benefit from an advance ticket.

Book a Same Day ticket if you're flying out of and returning to Heathrow on the same day. Ideal for business travelers regularly flying out of Heathrow. Hop on a morning flight for a meeting in Edinburgh or Berlin and fly home that evening, using Heathrow Express both ways.

Return

With a Return ticket on Heathrow Express, you have ultimate flexibility for your travel to and from the airport.

Whether you're away for two weeks with the family or enjoying a city break, you can travel five days after you buy the ticket and return within one month.

Carnet tickets

Available as a Carnet x6 or Carnet x12 on both Standard Class and Premier+ Class, you'll save money on your journeys by buying your tickets in bulk.

With a Carnet x6 you get 6 journeys for the price of 5, whilst a Carnet x12 will give you 12 journeys for the price of 9.

Family travel

Children aged 15 and under travel for free on Heathrow Express. If you're travelling as a family from Heathrow – whether to see friends or for the holiday of a lifetime – book tickets for the whole family, but only pay for the adults.
