As well as the sets, there are regular changing exhibitions, including:
- Dark Arts: Where you can learn about the Dark Arts and see a procession of Death Eaters walk through the studio.
- Hogwarts in the Snow: This beloved festive feature brings Hogwarts to life at Christmas. The spectacular Great Hall is transformed into scenes from the Yule Ball as seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The Gryffindor common room, Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley will be dressed for Christmas and the Hogwarts castle model will be coated in snow using the same technique used in the Harry Potter film series.
- Magical Mischief: Learn all about the film trickery that’s used in the films to pull off the various magical mishaps you see on screen. You can also experience O.W.L examinations under Professor Umbridge’s watchful eye in the iconic Great Hall set, complete with the swinging pendulum and paper firing exam desks.
There’s also a Harry Potter World gift shop where you’ll find all kinds of wizarding merchandise, from replica wands and chocolate frogs to unique clothing and cuddly toys. You can also indulge in a Butterbeer at the Frog Café!
The studio itself is located close to Watford, just outside of London. You’ll also need to book tickets in advance as it can sell out quickly. For a seamless experience, book Golden Tours’ Harry Potter Studio Tour London with VIP Electric Transportation which includes both pick up and drop off within London and attraction tickets. Spend as long as you like exploring the world of Harry Potter and your driver will be waiting for you outside.
