London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week (LFW) is a major global fashion event, and one of the biggest dates in the calendar for fashionistas in the UK capital and from further afield. And while it might scream exclusivity, LFW isn’t just for industry insiders. It’s also a chance for fashion-focused tourists to have an incredible and unique experience in London.

There are two London Fashion Week 2026 events in 2026. The first was in February, and the second is scheduled for September. Both have a focus on emerging talent and avant-garde style – it’s what makes LFW so iconic on the global scene.

Here we’ll tell you everything you need to know about LFW. We’ll run through when London Fashion Week 2026 is, where to stay and where to be seen.

London Fashion Week 2026 Dates and Schedule

London Fashion Week has two events in 2026:

The first was from February 19-23, 2026, and focused on Autumn/Winter collections. The second will be 17 - 21 September 2026, with a focus on Spring/Summer collections.

In February we saw big names like Julien Macdonald, Burberry, Erdem and Emilia Wickstead, alongside emerging talent from the British Fashion Council NewGen program.

The schedule for September will be available on the website in the lead-up to the event. In the weeks before, check the LFW website for the full London Fashion Week schedule 2026. And keep your eyes peeled for the City-Wide Celebration schedule for public events. It’s not all exclusive runway shows with a clamber for the front row seats!

Where it’s at: Key London Fashion Week venues

London Fashion Week is spread across London in a variety of venues. The two key spots are:

The BFC Showspace at 180 The Strand

180 The Strand, London WC2R 1EA

This brutalist landmark is the current central hub for LFW, housing the British Fashion Council’s main show space. It's incredible concrete architecture and central location between the City and West End make it the gravitational centre of fashion week. It became the main venue in 2015, replacing Somerset House.

It’s where many of the key shows take place, especially for NewGen designers. Part of the building also remains open during LFW with exhibitions and installations – they are well worth checking out.

The venue usually hosts presentations from top brands like Burberry.

Staircase at Summerset House

Somerset House

Strand, London WC2R 1LA

The iconic former home of LFW from 2009 to 2015, Somerset House was originally built as a royal palace in 1547. In fact, Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth I) lived there from 1553-1558.

While it no longer hosts the main shows, it’s still a key player during LFW. It often hosts exhibitions and City-Wide Celebration events. Plus, the courtyard is famous for London Fashion Week street style photos, so throw on your best threads if you’re planning to visit. Plus, it’s home to fantastic restaurants like Spring and Poon’s – both great places to be seen.

Somerset House is a regular venue for presentations from Roksanda, Erdem, and Richard Quinn.

Other top LFW venues include:

  • The Old Selfridges Hotel: A raw industrial space adjacent to the Selfridges department store, and an iconic fashion venue.
  • Victoria House: A Grade II-listed Art Deco building in Bloomsbury, and one of London’s most elegant Fashion Week settings.

You’ll also likely find events in the likes of Covent Garden and Soho. Popular street style spots include The Strand and outside major show venues – you can still get in on the action, even if you don’t have an invite to the big shows.

Leicester Square, Soho and Covent Garden classics

If you’re looking to dine in and around Covent Garden, don’t miss these classics:
