Bath to London: Getting into the capital
The first leg of your journey is the train from Bath to London Paddington. There are around two Great Western Railway trains an hour from Bath Spa station, direct to Paddington without the need to change trains. The journey on the train should take around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Locating the Heathrow Express in Paddington Station
Having arrived at Paddington station, hop off your Great Western Railway train and simply stroll to platform six or seven. Here you’ll find the Heathrow Express, with trains leaving every 15 minutes to whisk you to Heathrow in just a quarter of an hour.
Always check the boards at the station to make sure we’re not running from a different platform on the day.

Time to relax on the Heathrow Express
The Heathrow Express is the quickest and easiest way to get from London Paddington to Heathrow Airport.
Our trains leave Paddington every 15 minutes, running from 5:10am until 11:25pm. Heathrow Express trains run direct into Heathrow Central, with no stops along the way. You’ll be at Heathrow Central in 15 minutes, with an extra six minutes to arrive at Terminal 5 station.
Once on the train, settle into your seat and relax with ample legroom. There’s plenty of space to store your luggage on our trains and free Wi-Fi throughout. All our trains have level platform access, ideal for wheelchairs and we have disabled toilets on board. Children aged 15 and under also travel for free on Heathrow Express.
