Windsor to London: Getting into the capital
The first stage of your journey is to take the train from Windsor to London.
There are two direct trains every hour from Windsor & Eton Riverside into London Waterloo on South Western Railway, with a journey time of around 56 minutes. If you’re travelling from Windsor & Eton Central, you can change at Windsor & Eton Riverside to take the direct train into Waterloo. You could also change at Slough and hop on a train direct to London Paddington.

Navigating to Paddington from London Waterloo
Once you get off the train at London Waterloo, head down to the London Underground station below the main station concourse.
The most direct way to get to Paddington is on the Bakerloo Line. Take a northbound train for nine stops to Paddington, and you’ll arrive in around 14 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the Jubilee Line and change at Baker Street.
To keep things simple and stress-free when you get off your Windsor train at Waterloo, buy your London Underground tickets and Heathrow Express tickets online with us in advance. That way, you don’t have to mess around with a ticket machine before you get on the tube at Waterloo.

Sit back and relax on the Heathrow Express
When you arrive into London Paddington on the tube, make your way up to the main station concourse. Simply follow the signs and head up on the escalator or lift.
Our Heathrow Express trains usually run from platforms six and seven, so head through the ticket barriers with your Heathrow Express ticket in hand. If you arrive into Paddington on the train from Slough, simply get off your train and stroll to platform six or seven to catch the Heathrow Express.
Just remember to check the boards at the station on the day, to make sure we’re not running from a different platform. Most days we’re six and seven, but sometimes it does change.
