Norwich to London Heathrow

Norwich to London: Getting into the capital
The first leg of your journey is to take the train from Norwich to London Liverpool Street. During the week there are around three direct trains from Norwich on Greater Anglia, with a journey time of around 1 hour 45 minutes.

How to get from Liverpool Street Station to Paddington
Once you arrive at Liverpool Street, you have a few different options to travel to London Paddington.
Potentially the easiest option is to head down the escalators or lift to the London Underground station. Here you can hop on the Hammersmith and City Line or Circle Line westbound, direct to Paddington. There’s no need to change tube trains and your journey should take you around 17 minutes. You can also take the Elizabeth Line from Liverpool Street direct to Paddington.
There is no direct bus from Liverpool Street to Paddington, but you can take the N8 to Oxford Circus and then the 7 to Paddington station – this will be a time-consuming journey however.
You could choose to take a taxi from Liverpool Street which will get you to Paddington. This will take around 40 minutes depending on the traffic.

Where is the Heathrow Express at Paddington station?
Heathrow Express trains leave from platform six or seven at Paddington.
If you arrive on the tube, make your way up to the station concourse using the escalators or lift. If you decide to take the bus or taxi to Paddington, you’ll enter the station through the main entrance.
Once on the station concourse, check the boards for the platform – we’re usually six or seven but sometimes it does change on the day – and head through the barriers with your Heathrow Express ticket in hand.
