Guildford to London: Getting into the capital
The first stage of your journey is the train from Guildford to central London. Trains leave Guildford train station every three to 15 minutes with around six trains an hour.
Guildford trains travel direct into London Waterloo and take between 35 minutes and 1 hour 10 minutes. They are operated by South Western Railway.

How to get from London Waterloo to Paddington
Leave your Guildford train at London Waterloo and head down to the London Underground station below the main station concourse.
The most direct way to get to Paddington is on the Bakerloo Line. Hop on a northbound train for nine stops to Paddington in around 14 minutes. Another option is to take the Jubilee Line and change at Baker Street.

Boarding the Heathrow Express at Paddington
You’ll arrive into London Paddington on the tube, so you’ll need to make your way up to the main station concourse. Follow the signs and come up on the escalator or lift.
Check the boards at the station for the Heathrow Express – we usually leave from platforms six and seven, but check just to make sure we’re not running from a different platform on the day.
Then simply head through the ticket barriers with your Heathrow Express ticket and board your train for your journey to the airport.
