How do I get from London Euston to Heathrow Airport?

You can travel from London Euston to Heathrow via the tube and the Heathrow Express. Heathrow Express trains leave London Paddington every quarter of an hour and travel direct to Heathrow Central in just 15 minutes.  

Once at London Euston take the short walk to Euston Square station and board the Circle or Hammersmith and City line train to London Paddington which is just a few short stops. When you arrive at London Paddington, catch the Heathrow Express for the fastest way non-stop to Heathrow Central. 

Our Heathrow Express trains usually leave from our dedicated Heathrow Express platforms, 6 and 7. We sometimes use other platforms at Paddington, so check your journey planner and look out for the boards at the station.

How long does it take to get from Euston to London Heathrow?

There are no direct trains from Euston to Heathrow, meaning the fastest option is to take the tube to London Paddington and hop on the Heathrow Express. Your total journey time should take around 50 minutes.  

Heathrow Express trains leave from Paddington every 15 minutes and arrive into Heathrow Central just 15 minutes later. For flights from Terminal 5, it will take you an extra six minutes to travel to Terminal 5 station. If you're heading to Terminal 2 or 3, leave the train at Heathrow Central and make the short walk to the terminal. Flights from Terminal 4 are just a quick connecting bus ride from Heathrow Central.

 

How much does it cost to get from London Euston to Heathrow?

Booking your Heathrow Express ticket as early as possible will help save you money. An Advanced Purchase Single booked 90 days in advance could save you as much as 75% of the cost of a standard ticket.  

Even if you don't book in advance, an Anytime Single on Express Class is less than £30, whilst an Anytime Single on Business First Class is just over £30. If you're heading from London Euston to London Heathrow and back in the same day, your return journey on Express Class will cost you less than £40. Children aged 15 and under also travel for free on Heathrow Express.
